American Airlines Pilots in Revolt Against the TSA

From Jeffrey Goldberg at The Atlantic:

“There is absolutely no denying that the enhanced pat-down is a demeaning experience. In my view, it is unacceptable to submit to one in public while wearing the uniform of a professional airline pilot. I recommend that all pilots insist that such screening is performed in an out-of-view area to protect their privacy and dignity.”

Do travelers have a right to say “NO” and decline to fly? Will they be released to seek other transportation? If in the process of this “enhanced pat down aka “feel up” can you protest and say this is too much, I cannot tolerate this. I will not fly!
Will the person be allowed to leave or will the humiliation continue under protest and if it does is there legal recourse since you have stated you are not going to fly?

This is a result of Political Correctness. The Feds know which group of people are responsible for terror. They would rather investigate and harrass us than confront the actual terrorest.

You are more likely to be killed by law enforcement in your own country than by a terrorist attack. There is no evidence that this humiliation method will keep anyone safe from anything.
