On Wednesday, many members of the resistance will have cell phones capable of recording video. Some of them will be able to make use of Qik, a neat little app that instantly uploads your video to their servers. It can also sync the video to your YouTube account. We have seen time and time again that cops lie and destroy evidence. Why should we expect any different from the TSA?

Should you choose to record something in an airport on Wednesday, be it TSA abuse or your hilarious form of protest, by using Qik you can safeguard evidence that later may save your butt, embarrass the TSA or just make you the next YouTube star. Here is a list of supported phones. Read more about Qik here.

Open a Qik account here. You just never know when you will need it.

6 Responses to Install Qik on your Phone so TSA Can’t Delete your Video

  1. Steve Peters says:

According to the TSA’s own blog, they’re not allowed to confiscate phones or cameras, nor are they allowed to delete photos or videos.

But yeah, there is something to be said for being able to say “I’m not recording this. I’m BROADCASTING IT LIVE.”

    :)

  2. Patriotic Insurgent says:

I was just testing out my QIK camera application when I was going to go to the Facebook page for “Opt Out”, and guess what… the support group and 7,000+ supporters MYSTERIOUSLY vanished.

Not bad for my first video capture of the TSA, huh?

  3. Any reports of first hand use of this app? Please share them!

  4. I have used it and have friends who have used it. It simply rocks. I sync mine automatically to my YouTube account. Nothing beats it. Good for documenting all kinds of bad behavior.

Too bad it doesn’t support more phone models, BUT, bravo for its creation!!!
