We Won’t Fly’s Jim Babb on Lou Dobbs Radio

by George Donnelly on November 22, 2010

Lou doesn’t seem to get it. And that really irritates him. So much so that keeps playing with Jim’s volume levels. That’s not very nice, Lou. Jim and I have done tons of great radio interviews around the country and even on 10 Canadian radio stations, all of which went really well. The interview with Lou Dobbs was a little more controversial though.

Good Job! Thanks for all of your work! Take a look at this, if you haven’t seen it:
Michael Chertoff: unholy Corporate/Government alliance

Dobbs is an obvious shill. He starts out saying how outraged he is, then says how they are doing a wonderful job. Sickening. You must have needed a drink after that one! Rock on!
Interesting fact – Chertoff has dual citizenship with Israel.

Jim, I respectfully think that you didn’t express clearly, it more than “Lou doesn’t seem to get it.

When Lou challenged you on “it was private security that failed on 9/11, the first words out of your mouth should have been “The FAA allowed boxcutters” instead of the snarky retort “That’s baloney!”.

Yes, after that you got steamrollered by Mr. Big Ego, but because you were the one who first escalated with emotional responses, you may well have turned an ally into an enemy,

I think you got off point. I think that the reason that Lou got upset is that you headed down a path that is untenable in his mind, which is private companies.

I think that the FAA may have been “In Charge” but the Private Companies that did the work were pretty poor and poorly paid as well.

I think we need to go down a path of Layered Security (Yes, there is the ugly work Profiling again) and i would be happy to see that private companies do the work, like they do at certain airports today- but the standards must be maintained.

BTW I still think you did a good job overall on this, and are doing a great job keeping the protest going. My earlier comment was just a constructive critique on it from somebody who myself gets a bit too excited about this issue too!

Thanks for keeping the movement going!

Lou Dobbs is clueless and seems to be a bully.
Who cares if it is his show, you were his invited guest.
Nothing that TSA does today would have stopped 9/11.
When another real attack happens, what will the TSA have to say then?

Keep the fight going, your message is gaining support.

You did well James. Dobbs is a statist dweeb. Delete this comment.
