Awesome job!!!! You got all the major points in there, and she just didn’t want to hear it did she? She should go get the groping pat down done and we’ll see how she feels.

This is simple abuse of power. There’s no other way to describe it. If I as a military memeber were in a position to search a suspect terrorist in theater I wouldn’t be allowed to do such things. Why are we… As law abiding citizens made to accept this blatent violation of our rights? If it was just me I wouldn’t care. But I can tell you that I would probably go through the roof watching someone touch my wife or my daughters or knowing some one whom I don’t know is looking at naked pictures of my wife and little girls. I cannot understand why “Profiling” is such a taboo thing. Lets face the facts Americans and stop being so dumb.

I WOULD LIKE IT IF FIVE BURLY TSA OFFICERS COULD LECTURE ME ABOUT RESPECTING AUTHORITY WHILE THEY TOUCH ME UP, CAN THIS BE ARRANGED

Step up the situation: call for the firing of TSA head pervert, Pistole, and call for the end of the charade of removing shoes. Modern explosives required detonators, not matches — possessed by neither the shoe nor crotch bomber. Both “bombers” were bogus theater. The point it not safety, but the destruction of our constitutional rights (not that these rights come from the Constitution, they are God given, but the Constitution recognizes them).

Is it just me or is there something wrong with your comments system? I only see the other comments after posting one and the number of comments never updates.

You all sound like a bunch of f-ing grown up cry babies. Please just because you have something to hide or are ashamed of your body don’t fuck things up for those who don’t give a rats ass if I am scanned or pated down. I fly and have no issues with feeling safe. If one gun orweapon is prevented from getting on a plane it worked. Instead of creating chaos simply choos not to fly.

Congratulations, Shane, for successfully surrendering your constitutional rights to Big Brother in the name of security. I hope you valued them while you had them.

Some of us, however, actually enjoy our liberties and choose to stand up to those who would try to take them from us. Some of us don’t want to be sexually assaulted for choosing to fly on an airline. Some of us are willing to stand up and fight any entity that would try to rob of us of our dignity and our lawfully derived right to travel within the United States without duress.

Are you the same people who get nervous sitting next to Jenny Jihad in the Burka?

Rush Limbaugh had a segment today,11-18-10 where the host related the story of the muslim woman who refused to take her head dress off to be identified. the men with her surrounded her and refused to let the agent perform her duty. the agent backed down and let this muslim woman go on the plane!!!!!!!! So now we will see muslims excepted but American idiots complying. Muslims must be profiled. are they not the one’s promoting and causing the violenc? what is wrong with the USA. I won’t fly and have my son and daughter, husband and myself sexually assaulted. Go after the people who are the murderers-not us.

If any of you make me miss my flight on the 24th I will be very unhappy and not sympathetic at all. If you don’t agree with the extra security, stay home or use other means of transportation. You may have rights to protest but that doesn’t give you the right to disrupt other peoples plans. This from a 60′s protester!

So you think it’s okay to give up your civil liberties in the name of convenience and saving 15 minutes? Shame on you, if you really are a 60s protester.

Apologies for the delays with the comments. We are getting a lot of traffic so caching is slowing down the appearance of new comments. And I am moderating comments to ensure the conversation remains civil.

Shane if the new TSA security theater actually made us safer, you might have a point. But it doesn’t. It puts us more at risk by lulling passengers into a false sense of security. Passengers stopped a plane from hitting the white house and the underwear bomber. We are our own most effective security.

Theresa, maybe the solution is for us all to wear burkhas to the airport? I don’t believe that story. Do you have a link?

Roger, are you also unhappy with the TSA for forcing its dangerous security theatre down your throat? Or just with us?
