More Underage Victims of TSA Coming Forward

  • email

From the video: “The TSA says the government can not exempt categories of passengers, like kids, because that would invite terrorists to then exploit kids.”

Bad news. The Terrorist Support Agency (TSA) is already inviting terrorists to exploit kids. It’s practically an epidemic at this point! This is another case of the solution being worse than the problem!

Please sign the petition to end TSA patdowns for kids. It could break wide open our whole campaign.

NBC Philly: Local Parents Recall Their Own TSA Nightmare

For young kids, we’re always telling them. Don’t let strangers near you.
Don’t let strangers touch you,” says Russ Smith [dad]. “Suddenly it’s OK at
the airport to let a stranger touch you. Talk about mixed message.”

I would suggest that parents bring small flip video cameras to the airport and video these patdowns. Also DEMAND the full name of the TSA agent – video their name tag and face. The TSA itself says you have the right to have the person of your choice witness these patdowns. I would demand a supervisor witness them and the parent should video the entire encounter. Then once the child has been cleared you should tell the Supervisor you wish to file a formal complaint and say your child was molested.

These are not pie in the sky suggestions, they are very easy steps everyone can take:
    1. video the patdown – it is NOT illegal to video it
    2. ask that the Supervisor witness the patdown
    3. file a complaint – every single time
    4. send the video to this site and others
    5. Know that is a few states there are bills PENDING that would make this type of patdown illegal. NJ is such a state. I believe TX and AZ have similar bills pending.

I agree, this is an excellent suggestion.

    mo·lest (m-lst)
    1. To disturb, interfere with, or annoy.
    2. To subject to unwanted or improper sexual activity.

Most state define criminal molestation along these lines:

molestation n. the crime of sexual acts with children up to the age of 18, including touching of private parts….

There is more but it just goes on to talk about the additional other times so…yes…an adult, touching a child’s genitalia (which many obviously exhibit this as an unwanted behavior inflicted upon them). It falls under the legal and literay definition of the term.

I know criminal action won’t happen, however, I don’t think the TSA is exempt from civil suits (and even if they claim to have some get out of jail free card) its only as good as its been tested (and appealed) in the court system. It would also give TSA agents pause to know that they are potentially commiting a felony/misdermeanor (whatever it is) as I’m sure most are just “following orders”….

Where’s the ACLU when you need them?

    Full transparency of the definition:

molestation n. the crime of sexual acts with children up to the age of 18, including touching of private parts, exposure of genitalia, taking of pornographic pictures, rape, inducement of sexual acts with the molester or with other children, and variations of these acts by pedophiles. Molestation also applies to incest by a relative with a minor family member, and any unwanted sexual acts with adults short of rape.

Crap…and I should have mentioned this, would the section “taking of pornographic pictures” also apply to the scanners? They do indeed take an image… they do indeed get seen by someone…that someone does not have to be gender specific even so…i suppose a male TSA agent can look at a female, underage girl and vice versa. Also…and I dont know what the current rule and then what’s actually impemented with but they can/do store the images, so…would that contribute to their compiling and storage of child pornography? I know they can “say” they don’t store them but wasn’t there a snafu around that or at the courts or both or something where they were actually storing them? Is the govt outsourcing this to some business and is that business regulated (hopefully not like the banks)? etc etc etc

    /just saying…

My daughter and I won’t be flying until this all comes to an end. My daughter has her own opinions about TSA that I’d like to share with this site. She sees what is happening around her and I feel it’s time the children are given a voice more and more about this.
