Show Trials Now Coming to a Security Theater Near You

by George Donnelly on November 16, 2010

Sign On San Diego reports that the keystone kops at the TSA have opened an investigation witch hunt against John Tyner, the peaceful air traveler who submitted to TSA security theater with the lone proviso that he would file charges for inappropriate touching.

Michael J. Aguilar, chief of the TSA office in San Diego, called a news conference at the airport Monday afternoon to announce the probe. He said the investigation could lead to prosecution and civil penalties of up to $11,000.

TSA agents had told Tyner on Saturday that he could be fined up to $10,000.

“That’s the old fine,” Aguilar said. “It has been increased.”

This should really spice up TSA’s security theatre shows. Think of your favorite trial movie. Trials always grab people’s attention. They also arbitrarily and destructively divide the public into warring camps – those who think the defendant is guilty and those who think he is innocent. But that misses the point.

We can infer from the TSA’s statements that they may think he is a terrorist probing their security theater in order to better defeat it in the future. This is unsubstantiated. As far as I know, all John did was hold TSA accountable by exercising his right to record them in a public place and warn them not to sexually assault him. He submitted to their procedures! I support John 100%. John, feel free to get in touch if you need help. Being prosecuted by the government is even more traumatic than the grope-o-scopes.

If the goons fine him, I will personally send in a donation to help cover the fine, and I hope others do the same. This man is brave and deserves our support. He has stood up for our personal freedom! Very few people would have the guts to do what he did. He’s a true hero of the American people.!

The TSA should know that this will only hurt their cause. Go John!

What I’d just like to know is…what insanity is it that the TSA can now punish you for *leaving the premises*? From Mr. Tyner’s account and recordings, despite them having a police officer present, they never formally arrested him. If someone has not been arrested, under the law they *cannot be restricted from leaving an area*. They did not arrest him. No procedure was followed. They merely attempted to molest him and now are claiming things completely at odds with what the recordings show actually happened.

Typical. I’m glad that this is going so public. It’s about time the TSA were shown to more people to be complete liars and frauds, as well as apparently rapists and molesters.

Unfortunately, government schools don’t teach the true meaning behind America being a Republic not a Democracy. We are suppose to be a three vote system not a one vote system. Every citizen should read the Citizens Rulebook and learn about their other two votes. Power was intended to remain in the hands of the people not government. If America operated as the Republic that she is bologna like this would never be an issue and her government would be in big trouble.

It will be interesting to find a jury that will convict him. Maybe our government has found a way to deny him a trial. Clearly he is a terrorist who must be stopped.

I think we should all boycott the airlines and airports until they give us back our rights to privacy. And those pat downs are by definition sexual assault. And our children, priests, nuns, and anyone else will be prosecuted for not wanted to be molested. The terrorists are running this country now. We are our own worst enemy if this is the way it is going to be.

We all need to write to our representatives to demand changes and take a train until this changes!!

I can’t even believe we have to discuss this. Seriously outrageous. Nobody is molesting me so I can vist anywhere.

This is supposed to be a free country not a crazy one.
