WBTV interviewed me for this piece. How many horror stories will result from this security theatre?

At what point does “security” become undo “harassment”? To me, they TSA isn’t trying to keep people secure; they’re keeping them intimidated.

This whole thing is so truly sickening. My kids are terrified to go anywhere near the airport right now, because they don’t want people looking at them naked or trying to touch their privates. I’ve tried explaining that there’s no way in hell I’d ever let either thing happen to them, but they’re still very nervous.

By the way … if folks want to show their protest on November 24th, whether flying or not, there’s an awesome button for sale over at Zazzle.com that says:

“Molesting my kid shouldn’t be a part of ANYONE’s job description.”

Amen!
I am most appalled over that video of the little three-year-old girl.
These people are zombies. They keep marching on like the undead, and have that same undead mentality.
I’d personally like a button that reads:
Molesting ANYONE shouldn’t be a part of ANYONE’S job description.

(By the way … you can find the pin on Zazzle.com by searching for “Molesting Job Description”)

As long as people voluntarily give up their rights, their rights will be trampled in the name of security.

I knew one former TSA agent. I met her in LA. She had lived in Las Vegas prior, and working in their airports. The whole time she was working as a TSA agent, she was a crackhead… addicted to crack. She had changed to weed after that job. Not a bad person, but damn.

This could have been me . . . in Tulsa, OK. I was patted down, but they didn’t find it – that time.

This is going way to far. I will not fly if this keeps up. I’m at very high risk for skin cancer and beast cancer and these X-rays scans are not good for people like me. That doesn’t mean I want to be felt up by some stranger. So if the airlines are okay with losing money from more and more refusing to fly because of these horrible searches then they can keep it up. I’m done with them.

If the airlines lose too much money the ever so generous Government will just bail them out.

It would more horror to be on a plane with a bomber

It’s time we take back our civil rights, our lives, and our country! How far are you willing to go to do this?

The terrorists are inserting the bombs into their rectum. The TSA will soon be performing full rectal exams. Bend over Ms Jones, we need to insert this camera to check for contra band. This won’t hurt a bit and it’s for your own safety. Make sure your 13 year old daughter is ready next in line.

What shows how corrupt they are, is to make pilots exempt. but torture the rest of us through demoralization.
Yeah, right… like each and every pilot is proven not to be a terrorist? Why? Because their credentials check out?
Anyone can decide to become a terrorist.

These monsters are not namby pamby with us.
WE should not be namby pamby with them.

I say: BOYCOTT THE BUMS!!!!!!!!!!!

Or better yet, cancel your air travel for the year letting the air carriers know that you will not fly because of the TSA’s harassment. I promise you if 10% of people with flights scheduled this year would cancel their tickets and say that the TSA wouldn’t have contracts for security in any airport.

How does one approach this? Do we just make sympathetic comments? Of course it is horrible and unacceptable. What I want to know is are people that desperate to work for the Government that they would subject themselves and others to such treatment? Are their actually people who are OK with this? It needs to STOP now! They’ve gone way too far and this shows they can do anything they want and get away with it.

It seems to me the abuses cannot be tolerated ; I suggest a complete reassessment of the TSA , starting with firings at the top— and all the way down;
A complete and total reworking of security seems to be required- and replaced with something closer to the Israeli system- which is effective and professional .
The TSA is a complete failure— Admit it

OK – here’s the thing. I wonder how many of the Senators and Congressmen own stock in the companies who make airport scanners? Hell, they probably OWN the companies, just like they do with the weapons for the wars we never win or never stop fighting.
