Young Woman Molested by TSA Shares Her Story

  • email

Here’s the story of a lady who flew out of the Orange county airport last week. She wasn’t offered the option of a metal detector. She opted out (kudos!) and was groped. Ugh. I can’t imagine how bad that sucked.

While those of us who continue the commercial airline boycott remain staunch in our defense of dignity and human rights, others continue to choose to fly. We need to a campaign to reach out to these folks. Anyone got any ideas?

  • Gatkee

Why is she so perky and happy when she describes this situation?

    • http://georgedonnelly.com/ George Donnelly

      She’s a vivacious young lady.

  • marlio

So she was raped under the umbrella of protectng americans against terrorist. Only TSA profiles the ragheads and lets them pass through , not testing them for arms or weapons. Muslims wont have any so w/hy bother to test them for these items.

    • http://georgedonnelly.com/ George Donnelly

We do not tolerate racial slurs on this website. This is your one and only warning. Come on, you are better than that.

      • mediazorba

I don’t like politically correct sites. That’s probably why you don’t have much feedback. Goodbye.

        • http://georgedonnelly.com/ George Donnelly

          Thank you.

        • LeAnne

There’s a difference between being “politically correct” and not being a racist jerk.

Uh, “Muslim” is not a race. Guess you didn’t know any better.

        • http://georgedonnelly.com/ George Donnelly

I’m not sure the term means what you think it means. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=raghead

The term refers to people of Middle Eastern descent. This is not a synonym for muslim nor do all muslims wear turbans.

          • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1591230912 Jason Daniel Kozdra

I know, because Jews are of Middle Eastern descent, and I’ve NEVER heard this term applied to them…

          • http://georgedonnelly.com/ George Donnelly

Actually, very few would seem to be of Middle Eastern descent these days. The point remains, the word is a slur and it is not tolerated here. End of story. Have a nice day.

      • terre tulsiak

actually that was his second warning, was it not? the first was towel-head, but the other guy jumped in….

  • freakchylde

When I flew out of Sacramento, they only had one lane and it was the scanner. Shortly after I got in line, they opened the other lane, with the metal detector, but wouldn’t let me go through it. They actually made me walk between, so I only got the pat down (thankfully from what I would assume to be a military vet, since she seemed to have a better grasp on how to do one than the agents at Atlanta).

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1591230912 Jason Daniel Kozdra

When I was in state prison, pat-downs by uniformed thugs were nearly an every-day thing (and justifiably so). When I emerged from incarceration, I was surprised to learn that so-called free American citizens were permitting themselves to be subjected to this indignity and inconvenience!

Sure, I consented to them in prison (because if you don’t, the guards will just gang up on you and beat you into submission — kind of inconvenient). But what kind of coward do I look like emerging into a so-called ‘free world’, and permitting myself to suffer the same indignity and inconvenience that I did in prison under a conviction and sentence?

Quit letting these towel-heads scare you up, America. Grow an effing pair, already.

    • http://georgedonnelly.com/ George Donnelly

One warning. We do not tolerate racial slurs on this website.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1591230912 Jason Daniel Kozdra

Whatever. Call Homeland Security if you don’t like it.

      • Stephen Fromang

Well, wasn’t that easy? Label your opponents ‘racists’, and all dissent disappears like magic. Sweet.

        • http://georgedonnelly.com/ George Donnelly

I didn’t say anyone here is a racist. You got that wrong.

Dissent is welcome. Racial slurs are not. I’m sure we’re all capable of understanding the reason why.

The OP did not post anything resembling dissent, since he and I agree on everything of substance except the use of racial slurs.

          • Royce

“middle eastern appearances” is a racial slur? perfect instance of USA censorship on a website to promote freedoms….

          • Jj

@Royce: I think Jason’s use of the the term “towel head” is the racial slur George was referring to.

I think people have about quit being scared of Middle Eastern appearances. It’s the idiots in uniforms with badges in the TSA that people are scared of now. We either go get another dose of radiation to add to our future cancer account,k or we allow ourselves to be sexually fondled – or allow our children to be fondled – in public, no less. This is conditioning Americans to tolerate abuse, pure and simple.

The young lady in the video who was groped by the TSA has certainly been violated in my opinion and I don’t know why she didn’t bring sexual assault charges against the TSA. However, I must say that her video telling the story lost all credibility with me because she actually smiled throughout the whole narration of the video. Why would she find it necessary to smile when relating such an horrendous story…..that blew me away!
Well I guess I’m a lot different than most people in that I tend to show my outrage very openly and rage can be seen in my facial expressions when I’m upset about being done unto. This young lady need to practice some of that because if she ever had to testify against TSA in court, she wouldn’t convince a judge or jury nearly as much as she should.

The scanners have been checked out and their use has been checked out – they are all but useless for anything but making negative (that are easily turned into nice color pictures) pictures of naked people of all ages. Dogs, used by almost ALL other security agencies are nearly infallible. They just don’t put money into the pockets of the already-wealthy like the scanners do. And they don’t help Agenda 21 by causing incipient cases of cancer in air travelers. They also don’t give an out-of-control, poorly trained cadre of wannabe cops and badasses like the TSA a chance to fondle young women and children. Amazing how so many of them seem to be low-IQ types who mock passengers, and target people who aren’t cheerfully cooperating with their own molestation for even worse abuse. Has anyone considered a class action lawsuit? This crap IS illegal.

    Ian

    • MKHouston

And the scanners are dangerous. They (the TSA) have an obligation to
legitimately proof the there are no health hazards. That doesn’t mean just
      stating “they are safe”.

A muslim is a religion not a race.

  • Royce

some people cannot boycott flying as its a part of the job – i for instance work on Hawaii, which part of the job entails flying to other islands. Its a great job with bennies – i wouldn’t be able to simply boycott flying because i would be terminated.

  • Patrick

TSA is a joke. When I was in the Marines and I traveled in my dress uniform, I would be picked out of the line from everything else to go through a separate gate. I figured since I’m in uniform, i might be able to go through quicker…NOPE. Almost every time I was made to take off my shoes, belt, tie and blouse, then patted down, while another TSA stood as “back up”. This country is turning into a freedomless prison. EVERYONE is a bomb carrying terrorist now right?? If i do fly again, and I have one of the minimum wage classless jerkoffs touch my crotch, someone is getting a knee to the face

    • James

I had the same experience when I was in the Marines and my son is having the same experience since he joined the Marines. I also was sent through alternate screenings multiple time on one occasion when they found out I was a law enforcement officer. On the return trip I just showed my driver’s license only and I was allowed to proceed with no problems. Seems like they are targeting the wrong people here.

  • myPalDave

Thank you for sharing your story and I totally agree!
