Courageous Lady Strips Down To Protest TSA Security Theater

by George Donnelly on November 22, 2010

I think the TSA noticed this courageous lady’s resistance, don’t you? LOL. Seriously, this reminds me of a Pirate Party protest in Germany where a whole crew stripped down and handed out educational materials in an airport. If this is what we get on Monday, I can’t imagine what kind of creative protests people are planning for Wednesday!

It sounds like a real madhouse in the background!

Oh my gosh… they’re sooooo clueless! Listen as the agents go back and forth: is she clear? Is she not clear? Can we let her through or not? So, how many agents are distracted by this one bag and this one woman while how many other passengers go through without a pat down/scan? TSA logic is nonexistent.

The obvious: after removing clothing she was asked to put the clothing ON for the search! A search could have been done of her clothing at this point. It would have been obvious that there were no concealed weapons at this point!
Joke: definition of rape? Assault with a friendly weapon.

I’m guessing the crying child in the background is getting one of those “modified” pat downs for children under 12.

The Constitution is clear– these searches are invasive and require a warrant. Defend the Bill of Rights and don’t fly! If you have to fly, opt-out.

Incorrect you consent when you place your property down for inspection. Its called implyed consent, learn your laws before waiving the bill of rights. You need a warrent when searching owned things not in plain view trunks of cars and houses. Read up on your court cases that have established your P.C.

What about your naked body? Is it in plain view? I do believe that you are the owner of it.

You have the option to opt out. But you will be checked. Irk what’s more important for you ppl. To stand on a soup box and demand change or to die because really this is unreal that you would out cry this. Your images are not saved and TSA has strict policy maintain the ppls privacy as stated in the news.

Yes, that’s exactly the issue. Death. Because the TSA screening machines and protocols are ineffective.

For example I never, ever, flew without at least one weapon after 9/11. And I never, ever, once had any trouble getting my weapons through security, no matter what country I was in. Any terrorist on any plane I was on was going to die.

Problem is, if I could do it, so could the bad guys.

Paying a bunch of people minimum wage, giving them ineffective training, and relying on fallible machinery is going to cost lives.

The United States need to adopt proper screening measures, and be willing to hire well educated staff, and pay them a reasonable wage.

Jacob November 22, 2010 at 1:16 pm

Here are some pics from this girl showing in detail what she was wearing when she went through screening. The video doesn’t do full justice as to how brave this woman is. She deserves great respect for standing up to these Gov’t thugs! These were pulled from the twitter page of the woman in the video. https://twitpic.com/3911kp https://twitpic.com/3911jm

Okay, this is a little gross, but you have to fight fire with fire. Going one better than the guys in kilts, here’s a suggestion for any bold young women who may be flying this holiday season. Try to fly at that time of the month, wearing a skirt with no underwear — and no tampon. Refuse the scanner, and make them feel you up. A couple of those reports, and TSA goons will be quitting their jobs in droves.

trackerk November 22, 2010 at 2:05 pm

I love the TSA goon telling her she is indecent for only wearing her panties. Someone about to grope your privates telling you you are indecent. My sides are hurting from laughing so much.

modchen November 22, 2010 at 2:06 pm

seriously, it couldn’t be more evident that they just make the procedures up as they go along.

of course, you can’t question them. We Said So is the order of the day.

Reply

Places2C November 22, 2010 at 2:24 pm

Note that this whole procedure took 12 minutes to film and for the brave young woman to go through. She cleared the body screener and the bumbling, inept TSA screeners couldn’t figure out whether to pat her down or not and to clear her bags simultaneously. This is a prime example of the many inconsistencies by TSA screeners nationwide.

Tell TSA you “absolutely choose to get groped and frisked — long and hard — I promise to be completely submissive as long as my uniformed hunk is really cute and well-endowed” with a big smile and a sweet voice and see who’s still willing to grope you. Quietly ask him/her if they’re gay. If they say ‘yes’ ask their name and whether they’d like to get together later. Make a loud, thrilled noise to the crowd about being groped by a gay TSA agent who’s agreed to a date. If the only choice is to get groped or irradiated, might as well have some fun with it.

Never be rude; don’t give them any reason to abuse you. You might have a friend record it, but they forbid recording devices to “protect” you and me.

And, yes, the baby screaming bloody murder at 9:00 is the most disturbing part of this video. You know what they’re doing to him. Even toddlers know when something is really wrong.

Besides, where else can you get a badge, the legal authority to abuse total strangers, a dozen gang members to back you up and still get paid over $8.50 an hour? You know they’re getting top-quality candidates for money that large. The problems I’ve had (and heard about) were all related to common sense — TSA agents don’t seem to have any. Who tests these people? Nobody?

From now on, if we can’t get there in a car, we’re not going.

You can Friend “We Won’t Fly” on Facebook.

They do it for a bonus. Paid $76 million in bonuses in one year. See TSA press release at https://www.tsa.gov/press/happenings/performance_pay_good4_security.shtm

They state “a motivated transportation security workforce is just what a terrorist doesn’t want.”

An aggressive agent looking for a big bonus suddenly makes sense. No wonder these people act so crazy.

Instead of that just recommend Opting Out and letting out a real loud fart when they get close to your midsection during the pat down. When they touch your junk, moan and grind a little bit. – UpyoursTSA

I think someone should go into the naked body scanner and then run out like their skin is on fire screaming to be put out! I bet NO ONE in the near vacinity would go through it then! Basically act like they have been burned by the xrays.

Places2C November 22, 2010 at 5:40 pm

aha! Thanks for posting that link Samuel. The pay for performance scale the TSA uses to compensate their gropers is another key to battling this lunacy.
So all we have to do is get names and employee numbers and start registering complaints in the hundreds of thousands directly to DHS. Just be succinct and factual, give date/time of travel, airport, terminal, airline, your name, contact info and register that you were groped inappropriately or something to that effect.
By overwhelming an already bloated bureaucratic system with hundreds of thousands of legitimate complaints they will have to reassess this “pay for performance” especially if TSA offenders get their name mentioned repeatedly to the Big Boss.

What is wrong with you people? Would you really like to have another 9-11? These procedures are for our safety and security. Yes they are invasive but I’d rather feel safe rather than worrying if my plane’s gonna blow up. Stunts like these are just going to make travel difficult for those who do follow the rules. Shame on this woman for acting like a dumbass. I wished people who act like this be put on the no fly list.

Ma’am how many of your rights are you willing to give up to feel ‘safe’? At what point do we cross the line from security to tyranny? When you have no privacy? When nothing you have, your own body or your belongings, is beyond your rulers reach? Are you really free anymore? Do you have any liberty when any faceless bureaucrat many handle your body in any way they like? Or are you just trolling?

Jacob November 23, 2010 at 4:29 pm

You missed the point. Your ad hominem attack is irrelevant towards this discussion. I don’t know what 1950 has to do with that. A logical fallacy doesn’t need a specific date or place in time. You posted a personal attack. Personal attacks will not help in any way to fight the TSA and their tactics. If they do I would be interested to know how that would work.

Places2C November 23, 2010 at 4:35 pm

Jacob you are out of touch with salient talking points and seem to think that repeating the words “ad hominem” somehow make you smart. Now get off me and get back to the topic of this blog. You have been going off on me personally and need to refocus on the big picture. Can you do that?

Jacob November 23, 2010 at 4:37 pm

I should have know you were trolling.

Stuart Holt November 24, 2010 at 12:08 am

Your objections Michelle are duly noted. However, I don’t think you are really looking at the big picture here. The forced choice of being irradiated or invasively searched/groped is just the beginning of intrusive government into our civil liberties under the guise of National Security. This ploy was used in the 1930′s on the German people. The populace stood by and let it happen. Look what transpired thereafter. I don’t think we need to re-experience that again.

Michelle,

Don’t be an idiot. The Israelis have had far worse problems for years, and have developed an airport security system that is way better than what the TSA has. Why doesn’t the TSA use it?

Because it costs money, and the TSA is too damned cheap.

The current TSA system is so effective that Adam Savage of Mythbusters carried a 12 inch razor blade through the scanners, and onto his flight. If you really want to prevent another 9/11, get rid of the TSA, and get something intelligent and effective.

Liberty November 22, 2010 at 10:58 pm

@Michelle, you must have been distracted by the theater. It DOESN’T make you safer! The airport is not a safe zone. The people that work on the other side of the security scan have NOT been scanned. The food and supplies have NOT been scanned. You are limited to 3oz of liquids, so you can buy a bottle of “water” that entered through a side door. Never scanned. The luggage contains legal weapons. Those bags are marked for easy locating. The jet fuel is highly explosive. A bag of flour stirred up in the cabin can create a dust explosion. The scanning did not make you safer. You didn’t get blown up, because nobody tried to when you flew. The X-ray scans are, I believe, a low risk of harm. However, the risk of injury from terrorism is LOWER. We are replacing a low risk with a HIGHER one. All the while ignoring the huge holes in the rest of security. Osama himself could get through our checkpoints, even though he is likely on the no-fly list.

You don’t have to fly. you can get anywhere in the world by another means. If you don’t like the security system they have in place: don’t make them use it on you, drive! Talk with your wallets. If you think they need YOUR business so badly, i’m sure they’ll call you crying and let you go without the scan.

You are more likely to die in a car crash, plane crash, cancer, or just stepping out your front door than a terrorist attack. By installing these body scanners, you’re just adding more radiation and more risk to cancer for millions of people. We already have 1 in 3 women diagnosed with cancer and 1 in 2 men.

Women who have been sexually assaulted or raped in their lifetimes, 1 in 6 women throughout their lifetime, shouldn’t have to be submitted to these extremely thorough pat-downs. One reported story says TSA agents made sure both labias were there…. really?! What about people who are virgins or children who have never let someone put their hands in those places… I find it highly inappropriate to have to submit yourself to that. There are countless reports of women crying while being patted-down and yet no-one stops. Obviously they are disturbed by the whole process. You are putting the security of a rare terrorist attack against millions of peoples psychological and physical insecurities. I personally do not feel safe in the airports now. TSA agents are untrained and any asshole on the street can get accepted into the position. I’m not one to “poke” at careers, but when I have someone fingering me and groping me under my shirt, I would like to know that they have the skill levels required to know what they are doing.

I was in DC when 9/11 happened, and everyone in America talks about how horrible the whole thing is, and it is, but the majority of people weren’t there to witness it. 9/11 was a horrible thing, but in reality, these attacks are extremely rare. The security measures put in place in the past have been good enough to keep people as safe as can be. The new “security” measures put in place are said to not even detect the makings of a bomb anyway. You are putting more people at risk with these security measures, then saving them.

I’m horrified at these new measures. For people who are so worried about a terrorist attack, do your homework and find out just how likely that is. And to see if these measures will actually help prevent that. Here’s some reading for you…
