I’m looking for bloggers for the We Won’t Fly team. Get your views in front of a large audience! Our stuff gets seen by a lot of people. I prefer people who already blog. Articles in the 300-800 word range are ideal. An image and links help. Posts should be fresh, i.e., they should address something we haven’t already talked about here, or address something old in a new way. If interested, please send me your blog link at [email protected] and submit a post. I look forward to reading your posts! :)

How about someone who’s already on the terrorist watch list because of a medical device? I don’t fly now, but its because of the “rules”. I’m not sure I could do much, but I’d at least be willing to tell my story, however valuable that might be. Thanks. Love your site~

You should ask Kathleen O’Shaughnessy she would be wonderful if she would do it

  3. I am interested. Please let me know if I may help.

The only way we can win this battle is to keep our feet on the ground.

Let’s turn the airports into ghost towns this Christmas. Drive or don’t go. We all have to be willing to make some personal sacrifices to effect change.

Don’t let the TSA convince you that this issue is dead. They want us to believe that most Americans have accepted the new screening as the price of flying.

TSA: Keep your hands to yourselves! No scanners!

Over a year ago I became unemployed…..and homeless. As a 59 year old transwoman, I have to say….”That ain’t good.” So I lived in my car with my dog and started a BLOG to allow me to keep in touch with family and friends and to enlighten my readers about the plight of the unemployed and homeless. In July I finally got a job and settled in Burlington, VT. Considering that I was living in NYC all I can say is “HELP, I’m a prisoner in a Chinese fortune cookie factory.” Since we artists do not explain our work, if you don’t understand the allusion, that’s why Google was invented!!!

Lately I’ve been more and more depressed and pissed. The Tax Cuts for the rich, being felt up at the airport for nothing more than wanting to exercise your constitutional guaranteed right of freedom of movement within the country’s boundaries, Global Warming, the ENDLESS wars. DAMN, don’t get me started or I’ll make Lewis Black seem line a Sunday School teacher.

So to maintain my sanity I revved up my BLOG to act as a gadfly to those who treat the common folk like crap. As a friend of mine said when he heard that I was Blogging again:

If someone doesn’t yell and scream, they’ll think that we like being screwed. Keep up the good fight.

So I would like to Blog for you.

    thanks
    Edie

I’m still mad as a hornet that they don’t even bother changing those gloves between pat downs unless you ask them! Then I don’t see them clean those bins out after all those dirty shoes (the ones that just have visited the bathroom floor)! Then you place your cell phone, purse, wallet and what ever in those same dirty bins. Do you really want to put that cell phone to YOUR face after it’s been in there!

  7. “Win the war”, Pick your battles carefully.

We offered our thoughts on the airline boycott and opt out theory on our website airlinenightmare.com today. Some will agree and some will disagree with us and tell us to crash and burn.

Trust us, we’re no fans of the TSA and all the lunacy of the (T)hree (S)tooges (A)dministration. But don’t be fooled, they’re not as dumb as they appear and know how to play the game.

But hopefully, our blog today will give you another perspective and provoke thought on how try to “win the war” with the TSA.

  8. Please feel free to submit blog posts to [email protected]. Thanks all!
