When I flew from JFK to Milan, I was in the metal detector line, but a surly male agent directed me towards the scanner. When I refused, he made me stand next to the scanner while he waited several minutes before even bothering to call someone for an assist. It wasn't until a couple of his co-workers saw me standing there that they felt badly and started to ask for someone to come over for me. The woman who ended up patting me down changed her gloves before moving my stuff and changed her gloves again before touching me (of her own doing. I didn't have to ask). She was pleasant to deal with, and she told me everything she was going to do before she did it. When I asked her if I absolutely had to have my breasts and genitals touched in order to be able to fly, she responded with "Yes, but it's not that bad." To be fair, it wasn't as bad as I had been imagining, but either way it's a violation of rights.LeAnne
So I guess not all TSA employees are jerks. And they’ll still molest you with a smile.

Don’t be fooled into thinking they aren’t as bad as you might think. First of the the VERY THOUGHT THEY TREAT YOU LIKE YOUR GOING INTO PRISON OR A TERRORIST SUSPECT IS DOWNRIGHT INSULTING. Can we do this to them? NO. So therefore they are insulting and degrading you everytime you walk into an airport.
